I made this extra thin Micro-Maille Byzantine Chainmaille necklace from solid Sterling Silver wire. My silver work is heirloom quality because I make my own links from raw wire and then weld each link permanently closed by hand. This precess makes this necklace extremely durable and ready for a lifetime of wear. Oh and it makes it super soft to the touch. This necklace is made from 22 gauge Argentium Sterling Silver wire (9.35 purity) and has a solid Sterling Silver lobster clasp.
