I made this long and snakelike Chainmaille necklace from one of my favorite patterns. To make it I’ve used 18 gauge Green Anodized Titanium and 19 Stainless Steel. The pattern is a variation on the traditional Full Persian Chainmaille pattern. What makes this style special is that where Full Persian normally has four sides, this super long 27 inch necklace has six sides.
I make all of my chains from scratch; when I say that I do mean from the raw wire. I form and cut each link by hand, and build all of my chains by hand, one link at a time. As I make the chain I even weld each link closed. This makes for a super smooth feeling and it makes it so that my chains won’t pull on hairs. Welding my links closed also makes it so that my work will last for a lifetime and never need any care.
