I made this necklace from solid stainless steel so it’s waterproof and happy with daily constant wear and will last a lifetime. I make each of my links by hand before assembling them one at a time and welding the gap of each link closed so that my chains are smooth to the touch and last forever. Welding my links closed is special, other chainmaille is not made this way and will catch on hair and the links can separate. Mine won’t and doesn’t. It’s the best stuff around and I’m proud of my work, I’ve been at it for 25 years.
