I made this stunner from solid Jeweler’s Brass. The pattern is my own adaptation on one called Byzantine Squares. I’ve fiddled with the wire and link sizes to make this piece start thinner and more delicate at the back where the clasp is and then it grows into a statement piece size at the center front. I LOVE this necklace!
I make, assemble, and even weld closed each link so that my work is of heirloom quality. This means that it will last for a lifetime of wear and that my chains are soft to the touch and will not pull on hairs. The Brass will patina into the beautiful depth of tone that happens with Brass of quality which this is.
